Dear Friends,

   Please join me Thursday, September 30, 2010 at one of the most scenic and acclaimed golf courses in California – Trump National Golf Club, Los Angeles – for The Fritz Coleman/Salvation Army Golf Classic.

   All proceeds, including the awards banquet to follow, will help The Salvation Army meet the growing needs of the more than 400,000 local individuals who turn to The Salvation Army seeking a “hand-up” not a “hand-out” each year. With your participation, we’ll continue to transform lives and restore direction to those in need in our community through many vital social services such as homeless shelters, drug and alcohol rehabilitation, at-risk youth programs, groceries for families and housing and services for families affected by HIV/AIDS...

   Even if you are not a golfer, I still encourage you to join us in celebrating the more than 120 years of social service The Salvation Army has been providing in Southern California.
